Job Responsibilities: Johnston Industrial Plastics is hiring a full-time Warehouse Worker/Forklift operator. We offer a substantial selection of plastic sheets, rods, tubes, and custom plastic profiles, and much more. Serving industries including food processing, aerospace, auto manufacturing, medical just to name a few. All applicants are required to be located within the GTA, display professionalism, teamwork, commitment, good mathematical skills, and technical skills. Job Description Valid Forklift License: 3-5 years of experience Good mathematical skills Exceptional organization skills Follow safety instructions Assist other warehouse workers Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to fulfill orders in a timely manner Able to work effectively in team environment Ability to interact and communicate effectively in a professional manner Able to lift up to 50LBS. Job Responsibilities: Ability to read tape measure Ability to calculate the best yield from different sheet sizes. Assure the proper use of the type of blade for the different types of plastics. Strong attention to details is required Maintain accurate and timely record of cut orders. Ensure that cutting equipment is in good working order. Excellent communication skills are essential. Report any problems immediately to the manager as necessary. Follow safety procedures to ensure that accidents do not occur.
